Gear Review: MSR Alpine Dish Brush/Scraper
This has truly become one of our favorite products. It's certainly not an essential piece of backpacking gear, but it makes everyday home life much nicer.
Dimensions: 3.2x2.7x0.5 inches
Weight: 0.8 oz
Materials: Plastic & rubber
The brush/scraper is the perfect combination of features, size, and a definite win in our eyes. While most backpackers would agree that taking this to an alpine lake just to rinse out your titanium pot is a bit overboard, it more than proves itself in the home/RV kitchen. It's small size makes it easy to find a place to set it on the counter or in the sink. The short bristles stand remain straight for much longer than the longer bristled and handled dish brushes you get at the supermarket. The rubber grip is very positive and the scraper blades are fantastic. After a year of use the whole thing is still going strong. We use it everyday and are very glad we found it.
- Tiny footprint
- Super light
- Excellent grip
- Durable/long lasting
- Very affordable
This is a hole in one as well as a one of a kind product which is why it earns itself 5 stars. If you want a far superior dish scrubber - this is it. I know it seems a bit excessive to do a review on something like this, but that's how strongly we feel about it.
